About this website
I made this website because I wanted to learn HTML/CSS/JS, and I'm learning through trial and error and W3 Schools! It's written in VS Code and tested in Chrome and Firefox, and a lot of pages need JS to work. Most of it is coded by myself, but some code I got from forums, which you can see on my colophon. Polar exploration is one of my biggest interests, so I themed this website around it :3 At the moment it can be quite labyrinthian; I'm planning to improve navigation in the future, but I hope you enjoy exploring for now!
Please feel free to use any of my images/art/code for non-profit purposes! Credit is appreciated but not necessary.

Accessibility
Accessibility is very important to me, but I am new to coding so it is difficult for me to make my website as accessible as I would like. Here is what you can expect in terms of accessibility:
✦ No flashing images and limited moving images
✦ No autoplay
✦ Content warnings for anything potentially triggering
✦ Alt images (Sometimes the alts are in foreign languages due to the content of my website, this may cause issues if your screenreader attempts to read it in English)
✦ Colourblind friendly
✦ Dyslexia friendly fonts
✦ Usable on mobile, but much better on laptops/desktops
✦ On pages with lots of text, I include summaries, and on pages with words that may be difficult to understand, I include a terminology/dictionary section
